Doc Now Rocking Country

• Motor City radio royalty Doug Podell and his headphones have resurfaced at Cumulus Country WDRQ (NASH FM 93.1)/Detroit, where he will do 2-7pm Saturdays and Sundays. At the same time it was announced that current NASH FM weekend talent Lisa Lisa would cross the hall to do the same Saturday and Sunday shifts on Hot AC sister WDVD.

Podell has been in the Detroit market for four decades, most recently in afternoon drive at Beasley Classic Rock WCSX. He also programmed WRIF and worked at the late, legendary WWWW (W4) back in the day.
