Rooney VP/Sales @ iHeartMedia/NYC

• Entercom announced the appointment of Brian Rooney as Vice President, Director of Sales for Entercom New York. Rooney spent the past three years as VP of Sales for iHeartMedia’s WAXQ (Q104.3) and WOR/New York and the New York Mets Radio Network. Prior to that he was Sales Manager for WFAN/New York from 2007-2015.

In making the announcement, John Fullam, SVP/Market Manager of Entercom New York said, “Brian’s strong leadership and great track record in New York made him the perfect choice to lead our Entercom New York team.” Rooney remarked, “To come back to brands I love, now under the leadership and direction of Entercom, is a dream come true. I’m looking forward to working with this great team again.”
