• Iliad Media Group (Impact Radio) in Boise, ID announced the return of market veteran Rick Dunn to do afternoons at Country KQBL (101.9 The Bull), starting March 9. Darrell Calton, CEO of Iliad Meda Group said, “Rick brings a massive amount of energy to the table, has deep insider knowledge of the market and truly, truly cares about each and every listener. We hire for passion and creativity and Rick checks those boxes perfectly.”
Dunn circles back to Boise from Fargo, ND, where he was most recently Brand Manager of Midwest Communications Country KVOX (Froggy 99.9) and Classic Country KMJO (104.7 Duke FM). Before that he spent four years in Boise co-hosting mornings at Townsquare Country rival KAWO (WOW Country 104.3). Earlier in his career Dunn did mornings on Cumulus Country KUBL (K-Bull 93)/Salt Lake City.
“Rick adds another great personality to our team here at the Bull,” said James Garner, Impact Regional Operations Manager. “KQBL-FM is very community-focused on the Treasure Valley and the opportunity to bring Rick on to this team was one we are so excited about.” Dunn remarked, “I’m honored to be joining a station and company that knows how to do real radio. To have this opportunity to work in the best city in America for a powerhouse like 101.9 The Bull is truly humbling and exciting. I can’t wait to hit those Treasure Valley airwaves.”
