Face Of The Franchize
• On this very special episode of Let’s Make A Radio Deal, Beasley Rhythmic WLLD (WiLD 94-1)/Tampa and evening entertainer Joey Franchize have mutually agreed to a sweet new, multi-year retention package “that keeps the #1 night show in its proper place to represent the Tampa Bay area to the fullest.”
PD Orlando remarked, “I’m excited to see what Joey has in store for his second round. He IS the audience, in a super close seat. That’s why they love him… he’s not afraid to be a fan.”
RAMP checked in fellow Connecticut native Franchize, who exclaimed, “Man! It’s been a blast! O is The Man, and the whole WiLD staff has been amazing to work with since joining the squad two years ago. I really am in a great place here in Tampa. The city has shown nothing but love, and I will continue to give it my all and stay on top… only more good things to come.”
Franchize took command of the WiLD night show in May 2016, coming off an eight-year stint with CBS Radio Rhythmic WZMX/Hartford, CT, where he served multiple roles as mixer, morning show producer, weekends and swing.
