Foxx For WEZI Mornings An Easy Decision
• Cox Media Group AC WEZI (Easy 102.9)/Jacksonville introduced market veteran Toni Foxx as its new morning show host, with a start date of Monday, April 24.
Foxx is a seasoned radio and TV personality who notably spent nearly 20 years co-hosting the morning show across the street at iHeartMedia Country WQIK until she was one of many downsized in June 2022 during those large-scale corporate layoffs. Foxx’s 35-year career also includes mornings at WYYD/Lynchburg, VA, MD/middays at WQMX/Akron, OH, middays at WKDD/Akron, and stops in Pittsburgh, Minneapolis & New Jersey. From 2014-17, Foxx also hosted a local Jacksonville TV show for Tegna Broadcasting.
