Fresh Drivetime Shows On WNEW

CBS Radio’s WNEW (Fresh 102.7)/New York will launch headfirst into 2017 with new morning and afternoon configurations — starting Tuesday, January 3, Jeffrey Jameson (left) will join Karen Carson as co-host of the morning show, while current morning host Cane (right) will slide into the solo afternoon drive slot, weekdays from 3-7pm. Christina Richie remains in middays and Matt Sneed is doing 7-midnight. Jameson is a known quantity in the tri-state area from his most recent stint as co-host of Dana & Jeffrey in the Morning on Cox Media Top 40 WBLI/Long Island. He’s also worked as a Creative Consultant for many morning shows in the top 10 markets, appeared on several primetime TV shows, performed at Caroline’s, written and performed a one-man off-Broadway show and opened for Sandra Bernhard. He’s also a style writer for Us Weekly. Cane joined Fresh 102.7 in 2014 as a weekend host. His earlier NYC stops include Z100 and the late, great WXRK (92.3 K-Rock).
