O’Brian The New Sheriff In Greensboro

• Entercom Country WPAW (93.1 The Wolf)/Greensboro has tapped Dale O’Brian as its new Program Director and morning host. He succeeds Randall Bliss, who left last month. O’Brian most recently worked for Cumulus in Lexington, KY as PD of WLXX (NASH FM 92.9) and WVLK (101.5 NASH Icon). His extensive multi-format programming resume includes Cumulus Country WNNF (Great Country 94.1)/Cincinnati, LM Broadcasting Hot AC WCDA/Lexington, KY, the late WWZZ (Z104)/Washington, the former WBTS (95.5 The Beat)/Atlanta, WKSI/Greensboro and he enjoyed two stints at Clear Channel’s WMXL/Lexington, KY. Oh, and he’s also the creator of the syndicated Retro Country USA, coming up on its 20th year!

In making the announcement, Brian Douglas, VP of Operations for Entercom Greensboro said, “Dale’s a people person. He impressed us with his enthusiasm, record of team leadership and ideas on taking The Wolf to the top. We’re proud to have him leading the team.” O’Brian will be on the job right after Christmas.
