‘G Moniy’ Now Drives Fayetteville Home

• The journey from intern to full-time air personality has now been realized by Gregory “G Moniy” Johnson, who has been promoted to afternoon drive talent at Beasley Urban WZFX (Foxy 99)/Fayetteville, NC. Moniy has been with the company since 2006 and was most recently a part-time on-air personality.

“It’s great to see talent grow within,” said Kent Dunn, VP/Market Manager of Beasley Media Group Fayetteville. “G has demonstrated with his on air talent that he’s the right candidate for the new role. We all look forward to seeing G grow!”

“I’m extremely excited for G,” said Kenny J, Urban Brand Manager and PD of Foxy 99 and Urban AC WUKS (Old School 107.7 Jamz). “G started with us In 2006 as an intern, he was later hired as a part-time on-air talent. His energy in the building is amazing and his hard work and passion is undeniable. I look forward in continuing watching G grow as a on-air talent.”

Moniy remarked, “I started out with Beasley Media Group as an intern in college not knowing that the path I was on would be my career. I want to thank everyone I’ve ever worked with on this journey. You better believe it only gets better from here!”
