Gresh Succeeds Arnold On WEEI

• Shortly after Dale Arnold‘s final broadcast on Friday on Entercom Sports-Talk WEEI/Boston, the company formally introduced market vet Andy Gresh as Arnold’s successor and Rich Keefe‘s new co-host on the rebranded Gresh & Keefe show, weekdays from 10am to 2pm ET, starting Monday, March 15.

“Andy Gresh has a vast amount of experience covering the Boston sports scene, making him a perfect addition to our midday programming,” said Mark Hannon, Regional Pres., Entercom Boston. “We’re excited to team him up with WEEI’s Rich Keefe to bring listeners a dynamic midday show that will reflect what sports fans are talking about day in and day out.”

Gresh started his career behind the scenes at WPRO-AM/Providence in 1997, working his way up to morning co-host on WPRV (790 The Score) in October 1997. He remained there until 2008, while also working part-time for sister WFAN/New York. He spent most of 2008 at ESPN Radio, before joining the original staff of Mad Dog Radio at SiriusXM in 2009. Other on-air stops include Entercom News-Talk WTIC-AM/Hartford and WEEI rival WBZ-FM (98.5 The Sports Hub)/Boston, as well as pre-game, halftime, and post-game analyst on the New England Patriots Radio Network.

“I’m excited to be back on the radio in Boston,” said Gresh. “I think people know I’m pretty familiar with this time slot, but It’s time to present something new and fresh, with energy, focus and fun. Rich Keefe and I have always had a cool relationship that I truly believe that will translate through the speakers.”
