Harman To Middays On KATJ/Victor Valley

• Yup, it’s official — Southern California radio pro Ginny Harman is formally aboard for middays at El Dorado Broadcasters’ Country KATJ (Kat Country 100.7)/Victor Valley, CA. Harman (pictured) was most recently morning co-host/traffic reporter for Audacy Country KFRG (K-Frog 95.1)/Riverside until last September. She’s currently doing fill-in traffic reporting for KFI/Los Angeles and some outlying stations.

Harman began her radio career in Cleveland and has over 25 years on the air in markets like Nashville, Phoenix, Milwaukee, Austin, and seven years with Mt. Wilson Broadcasters’ KKGO (Go Country 105)/Los Angeles.

“I listened to Ginny when she was on the air in Phoenix and later, on KFRG,” said Mark Mitchell, VP of Programming for El Dorado Broadcasters. “When we had the opportunity to bring in someone of her caliber for KATJ-FM, there was no hesitation.” El Dorado EVP Chris Fleming noted, “This is a good time for us to expand our staff, while others are looking at contracting. Everything we see from the audience is a desire for connectable, relatable on-air personalities and Ginny Harman fits that bill.” Harman remarked, “Whether hosting a show, or flying over and reporting on a fire or accident, my love for radio never wanes!” Your best wishes can be sent to Ginny at ginnyharmanvo@gmail.com.
