J.D. Wakes Up Back In Phoenix
• Audacy Classic Hits KOOL (BIG 94.5)/Phoenix welcomes J.D. [Whitfield] as its new morning show host. The cleverly titled J.D. in the Morning! debuts Monday, June 5 and airs 6-10am.
The new gig marks a return to the Phoenix market for J.D., who began his full-time radio career doing nights on KZON (now Top 40 sister KALV), and became the No. 1 rated night show from 2010 to 2012. In 2013, J.D. moved up and joined The Lady La Morning Show as a co-host. More recently J.D. spent five years in Boston doing nights for former Audacy Top 40 WODS (103.3 AMP Radio).
