KBCO: Home Is Where Hart Is

• iHeartMedia Triple A 97.3 KBCO/Denver welcomes back a very familiar voice — Robbyn Hart has been named as the station’s new midday host, effective Monday, Jan. 16. She will succeed Ginger Havlat, who retired on Dec. 31 after nearly 35 years with the station.

Hart is already incredibly well acquainted with the inner workings of KBCO, having most recently done nights there for seven years. She previously served as morning news anchor for KBCO and Classic Rock KRFX (103.5 The Fox) for 26 years, and held other positions in the building, including reporter and afternoon anchor on News-Talk sister KOA.

In making the announcement, PD Scott Arbough said, “I am extremely excited to welcome Robbyn Hart back to KBCO for the coveted at-work midday slot that is so important to KBCO. Robbyn’s infectious personality was an integral part of KBCO’s success over the 26 years she was with us and it feels like a no-brainer to have her back in the family. I can’t wait to hear her laughter and upbeat personality on the radio every day.”

No less enthusiatic about returning to KBCO is Hart, who exclaimed, “I’m thrilled to be coming back home to 97.3 KBCO. It feels awesome! What an honor to do middays on this legendary Colorado radio station! KBCO has always attracted amazing listeners and I’m looking forward to connecting with them again. I’m also super happy to work with my longtime friends on Team KBCO! Big thanks to JoJo Turnbeaugh and Scott Arbough for making this happen!”
