Kicks 99/Augusta Welcomes Poxson For Mornings

• Beasley Media Group has named Jess Poxson as the new co-host of the KICKS Wake up Krew on Country WKXC (KICKS 99)/Augusta, GA, plugging in alongside co-host “Dub” Bryan.

Poxson was born and raised in Detroit, and started her radio career with Cumulus Detroit in 2010, rising through the ranks in various positions with WJR and WDVD before she moved over to Country WDRQ as the local anchor of America’s Morning Show with Blair Garner. Poxson was upped to middays in Sept. 2015 and awarded APD stripes a year later. She later crossed the street to Audacy do afternoon drive & weekends/swing on WYCD and WDZH. Poxson most recently lived in Canton, GA before moving to Augusta.
