Kimo Retires, Italian-Style

RAMP reached out to Audacy RVP of Programming Scott Roddy, who, along with Kimo’s many close colleagues, isn’t looking forward to his departure, but is happy for him and his future plans. “In all of my years, I’ve never worked with a more proactive and positive talent,” Roddy said. “Kimo has introduced SoCal to hundreds of artists over the years. I’m selfishly sad to see him retire, but thrilled he’s doing it on his own timeline. I’m also jealous because he’s retiring to ITALY!!!”
KSON already has extensive plans in place to celebrate Kimo in style until his last day. “We’re throwing him a going away party with one of his favorite artists, Rodney Atkins,” Roddy said. “‘Kimo’s Kegger’ is happening March 19 at The Sound in San Diego. We have LOTS planned to thank Kimo over the coming months.”
