Mady Awarded Middays At ALT94.9/San Diego
• Audacy Alternative KBZT (ALT 94/9)/San Diego promotes from within and announces Mady Rhodes as the station’s new midday host, weekdays from 10am-3pm PT.
San Diego-born and raised, Rhodes joined ALT 949 in 2015 as a board op, working her way up to on-air in 2017 and assistant morning show producer in 2019.
“Mady is a great addition to the ALT 949 air staff,” said John Allers, VP & Brand Manager, ALT 949. “She offers a unique spin on the music we play, and she loves San Diego even more than Ron Burgundy!”
Rhodes remarked, “I’m very honored as a San Diego native to be hosting middays on a station that I grew up listening to. I can’t wait to get to know you and nerd out about music in middays on ALT 949!”
