Maguire Joins ESPN 1000/Chicago

• Good Karma Brands’ Sports-Talk WMVP-AM (ESPN 1000)/Chicago welcomes Ryan Maguire as the new Executive Producer of the White Sox Radio Network. The move reunites Maguire and Market Manager Mike Thomas, who shared that fun fact in a staff memo that reads, in part, “Ryan and I have known each other for about eight years and we worked together at CBS Radio. Ryan has an impressive resume of programming leadership and working with teams. The stations he has guided have been Marconi nominees and he won a Marconi in 2019.”

Thomas added, “Ryan is from Michigan and currently lives in Milwaukee. He has programmed stations in Michigan, Wisconsin, WSSP/Kansas City (home of the Royals), KDKA/Pittsburgh (home of the Pirates) andWQAM/Miami (home of the Dolphins, Panthers and Hurricanes). Most recently he programmed News-Talk at KIRO/Seattle and he writes a weekly column for Barrett Sports Media.”
