McCabe Joins Revised WTMX Line-Up

• Hubbard Hot AC WTMX (101.9 The MIX)/Chicago unveiled a revised on-air line-up that includes a “Mix” of current personalities Jenny V (Valliere) and Lisa Allen, along with the addition of major market veteran Casey McCabe.

Jimmy Steal, VP of Brand and Content for WTMX & 100.3 WSHE announces the impending arrival of Casey McCabe (left), who will team up with current Mix midday personality Jenny Valliere (center) and move to afternoon drive to become the new hosts of The Afternoon MIX with McCabe & Jenny, effective April 18. At the same time, Lisa Allen (right) will move back to middays, a position she held for seven years prior to moving to afternoons.

McCabe arrives from Los Angeles, where he most recently worked at former Audacy Top 40 KAMP (97.1 AMP) and Alternative KROQ in addition to hosting his syndicated  Alternative Soundcheck show. McCabe earlier worked at KXTE/Las Vegas and KRZQ/Reno.

McCabe said, “Really looking forward to being a part of The Mix team and beyond excited to be working alongside Jenny V every afternoon!” Valliere commented, “I’m thrilled to make the move to afternoons and can’t wait to get started with Casey.” An elated Allen said, “I’m very excited to be returning to my longtime home in MIX Middays, where I’m happiest!”
