• Strategic Communications’ Country KWSV (99.1 The Ranch)/Simi Valley, CA has named Diana DeVille as its new midday personality, starting Monday, June 25. She will succeed Mese Smith, who is leaving to focus on his v/o career. The new gig marks an upgrade for DeVille, who is already on staff at The Ranch doing weekends and fill-in. She previously worked at KRAB/Bakersfield and KNAC/Long Beach.

Ranch PD Michael Raffety said, “It’s always hard replacing a strong personality that listeners have grown to love, like Mese Smith, but if anyone can carry on the success, it’s Diana Deville. She’s loaded with great ideas and has a genuine love for the Country format and listener. I know the audience will grow to love Diana as much as they do Mese.”
