Meet ‘Nik, The Country Chick’

• Philadelphia radio vet Nicole Michalik has been inked as the new afternoon drive personality at Beasley Country WXTU/Philadelphia. She starts on Monday, February 25 and succeeds former XTU afternoon talent Mark “Razz On The Radio” Radziewicz, who was recently upped to PD and is now splitting the midday shift with Brian McKay.  “Nicole is a bright and dynamic talent,” said Razz. “She shares herself well with everyone she meets. We feel very fortunate to have been able to secure Nicole’s talents for 925XTU. She brings a whole host of experiences that our listeners will find entertaining.”

Michalik, the artist also known as “Nik The Web Chick,” most recently did middays across the street on iHeartMedia Rhythmic AC WISX (Real 106.1) until mid-November, when the station flipped to AC as 106.1 The Breeze. Her earlier Pennsylvania radio stops include WIOQ (Q102)/Philadelphia, WAEB (B104)/Allentown and WLAN/Lancaster, PA. Michalik also hosts the hit podcast, Why Are You Following Me?

Michalik has also appeared as a contestant on NBC’s The Biggest Loser, co-hosted The Q on Fox 29/Philadelphia and starred in the off-Broadway production, Gilbert Gottfried Presents: The Diet Show. She is a graduate of Drexel University, where she was named one of Drexel’s “40 Under 40.”
