Miami Wakes Up With Mack & Letty B
• iHeartMedia AC WMIA (93.9 MIA)/Miami announces the launch of Mack in the Morning with Letty B, effective April 1. Mack in the Morning with Letty B will feature a tasteful blend of iHeartMedia veterans — popular Miami personality Mack (center), who crosses the hall from afternoon drive on Top 40 sister WHYI (Y100), along with his producer/co-host Nick Peña (right), and “Letty B” Baltazar, a Los Angeles native who spent the past four years working at KIIS-FM and more recently, doing middays on KHTS (Channel 933)/San Diego.
“I’m excited to announce Mack, Letty B and Nick as 939 MIA’s morning team,” said PD Joey Brooks. “Not only is this group entertaining, but they are committed to the South Florida community. Individually, each of them brings a unique perspective to the show and I’m confident that they will quickly earn listener loyalty.”
Mack said, “I enjoyed my time as afternoon drive at Y100 and I’m excited to kick off a new chapter at 93.9 MIA. I’m grateful for the opportunity to take the next step in my career to morning drive here in Miami. It’s a good thing we have Cuban coffee!”
