New Chapters For Paco Lopez
• Veteran major market personality Paco Lopez hasn’t exactly been sitting around the pool since he left CBS Radio Classic Hits WOCL (105.9 Sunny FM)/Orlando in July, as he explains to RAMP, “These past couple of months have allowed me to continue to grow the ‘Paco Lopez Media’ brand — I’ll continue as the P.A. announcer for Orlando City (MLS), Orlando Pride (NWSL) and the Orlando Solar Bears (ECHL), and I’ve have added new clients to my voiceover business,” he said.
Lopez has also started another chapter in his media career: “I’ve teamed with other broadcasters and Chris Lash‘s Whiplash Radio to offer an ’80s ‘All Hit’ format for national syndication. You can hear me weekdays on our flagship station, Hit Radio 103.3 WHTX (formerly WGVR)/Gainesville, FL, and several other projects and opportunities are forthcoming.”
