Raph Awarded KIIS-FM Upgrade

• iHeartMedia’s mighty KIIS-FM/Los Angeles has tapped company vet Raphael Opida, a.k.a. Raph on the shoulder and invited him to move to Los Angeles to do 2-5pm weekdays, starting in the early Fall.

Raph earns the transfer and sizeable upgrade from Top 40 sister WIOQ (Q102)/Philadelphia, where he has done nights since October 2014. Before that he spent seven years as a jock and Promotions Director at Top 40 sister WPXY/Rochester, NY.

In a staff email, KIIS-FM PD John Ivey noted, “Jesse Lozano has extended his deal to remain on KIIS for the 5-7pm drive home shift while also continuing his LIVE morning show in San Diego.”
