Rochester Morning Forecast: Breezy
• Entercom Top 40 WPXY (98PXY)/Rochester, NY keeps it in the family and promotes Brianna “Breezy” Sloth to morning show co-host, plugging in across from veteran co-host Corey James on #TeamPXY, weekdays from 5:30-10am. The co-pilot has been vacant since Whitney Young resigned back in mid-July.
Ms. Breezy originally joined 98PXY as a morning show intern in 2017. Following her graduation from SUNY Oswego, Breezy took on various roles of increasing responsibility at the station — promotions, nights, morning show fill-in, and morning and evening traffic reporter.
In making the announcement of Breezy’s upgrade, Sue Munn, SVP/Market Manager, Entercom Rochester, said, “Breezy has an undeniable work ethic and tenacity while delivering her one-of-a-kind, friendly and outgoing personality on the air,” said “She has a real familiarization with our station, this market and its devoted listeners, and we’re thrilled to have her on board.”
Breezy remarked, “Since I was 15 years old, my dream has been to be on the radio. I’m so excited for this opportunity to be sitting alongside Corey James, my co-host and, more importantly, my friend, living the dream every morning. Dreams don’t work unless you do, so work hard and keep on pushing.”
