Sactown Sports Welcomes ‘Deuce & Mo’
• Busy week inside Bonneville Sports-Talk KHTK (Sactown Sports 1140)/Sacramento – yesterday the station announced the impending arrival of new PD Brian Gebhardt; today Sactown Sports announces the hire of Dave “Deuce” Mason and Morgan Ragan as the hosts of Deuce and Mo, weekdays from 11am-2pm PT, beginning Monday, Jan. 23.
Deuce Mason is an NBC Sports contributor, NBA G-League play-by-play host for the Stockton Kings, Sacramento Kings radio broadcaster, and co-host of the Deuce & Mo podcast. Morgan Ragan is the Kings’ pre-and post-game host on NBC Sports California, NBA G-League Color Analyst for the Stockton Kings, and co-host of the Deuce & Mo podcast.
“Deuce and Mo are a fabric of the Sacramento Kings,” said Steve Cottingim, SVP/Market Manager, Bonneville Sacramento. “Being able to bring their brand to Sactown Sports as we extend our live sports coverage from 6am to 6pm every day is very exciting.”
Ragan said, “We’re excited to connect with this community on a different platform. Being able to work in our hometown market has been a dream come true.” Mason commented, “I’m born and raised in Sacramento so the chance to do a show in my hometown means the world to me.”
• Beginning Monday, the Sactown Sports 1140 line-up looks like this — 6-11am: The Carmichael Dave Show with Jason Ross; 11am-2pm: Deuce and Mo; 2-6pm: Cattles and Ramie.
