Smooth Transition For Denz-Hamilton

• Congrats are in order for Jona Denz-Hamilton, a 26-year veteran of middays on Alpha Media’s now former Classic Hits KBAY/San Jose, who A) just completed a nearly seamless transition into middays at Momentum Broadcasting’s KIOO (97.7 Classic Rock)/Visalia, CA, and B) was recently nominated for induction into the prestigious Bay Area Radio Hall of Fame!

Denz-Hamilton was one of several KBAY employees who were downsized in April when the station flipped to Bay Country, and has now landed safely.

Earlier in her radio career Denz-Hamilton worked for Metro Traffic, the former KLOK/San Jose, and spent nine years with legendary South Bay Rocker KOME/San Jose. In the mid-’80s she programmed KLRB/Carmel-Monterey and KROY/Sacramento.
