#TeamPXY Is Now Complete
• Entercom Top 40 WPXY/Rochester, NY makes it official and announces Whitney Young has been named as the permanent co-host of the #TeamPXY morning show alongside host Corey James, weekdays from 5:30-10am. The upgrade makes sense, as Young has been on the show since May of this year.
After graduating from NYU with an honors degree in Communications and Performing Arts, Young spent the next few years working as a digital media host/producer, shuttling between New York and Los Angeles — at one point making a “pit stop” in Rochester, where she temporarily served as WPXY’s social video host/producer and weekend air talent.
Prior to her work at Entercom, Young served as a social media producer and on-camera personality for Hearst brands, including Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, Marie Claire and Seventeen. In 2017, Young returned to Rochester as WPXY’s midday host, and was elevated onto the morning show in May 2018.
