‘Voice’ Alum Joins WBZZ/Pittsburgh
Pittsburgh area performer Chris Jamison is the newest member of the live and local airstaff on CBS Radio Hot AC WBZZ (100.7 Star)/Pittsburgh. His first show will be Monday, September 4 from 5-10am, and his regular shift will then be Sundays from 3-9pm and on holidays. Jamison’s connection to 100.7 Star dates back to 2014 when Star and its Bubba Show served as the official hometown cheerleaders during his successful run on Season 7 of The Voice. He has previously appeared at Star events, including the annual O Starry Night concert. He originally joined CBS Radio Pittsburgh as a part-time Master Control Operator earlier this year.
“Chris is a talented, standout entertainer with rich local ties,” notes Mark Anderson, CBS Radio Pittsburgh VP of Programming and WBZZ PD. “We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to grow with him as he takes this next step as part of the 100.7 Star team.” Jamison said, “The first time I set foot in the 100.7 Star studio as a guest on Bubba Show it felt effortless. My goal has been to experience different avenues of the music industry, and this is a logical next step.”
