Wake Up With Smasher & Dee

• Riviera Broadcasting Hot AC KMVA (Hot 97.5/103.9)/Phoenix announces a change to Hot Mornings, introducing a newly forged team comprised of market vet Smasher and current KMVA midday personality Dee Garcia, who is now upped to morning co-host. Smasher most recently co-hosted mornings across the street at CBS Radio Classic Hits KOOL-FM until January of 2016. His previous stops include WKSC (103.5 Kiss FM)/Chicago, WNKS (Kiss 95.1)/Charlotte and the late KXXX (X100)/San Francisco.

Mikey Fuentes, VP of Programming for Riviera Broadcasting said, “Smasher and Dee are dynamic personalities that are real and fun which makes them real fun! They love Arizona and are committed to making a positive difference in our community.” Smasher stated, “I’m very excited to be teaming up in the morning with Dee, who has so much talent!” Garcia commented, “Morning radio is my passion and I can’t wait to wake up the valley weekday mornings.” Smasher and Dee in the Morning launched on Monday, January 23, and replaced the duo of Ronnie Jr. and Monica Nelson, who exit.
