WOGL Has Breakfast With Russell

Well, that certainly didn’t take long — earlier this month Philadelphia radio fixture Marilyn Russell was named co-host of The Breakfast Club on CBS Radio Classic Hits 98.1 WOGL with Frank Lewis and Bill Zimpfer. Now comes word that Russell’s long-running, award-winning program Woman of the Week will now air on WOGL and sister stations WXTU and WTDY (Today’s 96.5) every Sunday at 6:30am. KYW Newsradio will highlight Woman of the Week in vignettes throughout the week.

In addition to the Sunday morning show, WOGL will also produce Woman of the Week-branded events several times a year featuring the women highlighted on the show. Russell commented, “To have the resources that CBS Radio offers is spectacular. I never dreamed I’d have the opportunity to share these extraordinary women across such platforms as 98.1 WOGL, KYW Newsradio 1060, Today’s 96.5 and 92.5 XTU. It’s an incredible honor to be able to do so.”
