WPGC Mornings 100% Sunni-er
Congrats are in store for Sunni, midday personality and host of Sunni In The City on CBS Radio’s WPGC/Washington, who has been propelled upward into morning drive, where she will be joining the Joe Clair Morning Show (JCMS). “Sunni is the perfect fit for the Joe Clair Morning Show and we are incredibly fortunate she wanted to get up early and make the transition to mornings,” said Steve Davis, who doubles as VP of Programming for CBS Radio DC and PD of WPGC.
Joe Clair commented, “Sunni is a breath of fresh air to the Joe Clair Morning Show. Her unique personality and outlook forged by her past experiences make this iteration of the JCMS unstoppable!” Sunni remarked, “I’m truly honored to be able to continue my career in a place like DC where I’ve felt home since day one, especially at such a legendary station that is WPGC.” Prior to joining WPGC in January 2011, Sunni enjoyed success as an air talent in Detroit, New York and Miami. Steve Davis has now begun the search for a new midday personality.
Fun Fact: WPGC celebrated its 30th anniversary last month and continues to be one of the most-listened-to stations in the DC Metro area, which is nice.
