WUNC Music Adds Two Hosts
• WUNC Music, the streaming Music Discovery radio station produced by NPR-affiliated News/Talk WUNC-FM/Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, NC has added two new on-air hosts to its schedule: Alan Thompson, a.k.a. DJ Who4thecru (left), will be heard on WUNC Music Saturdays and Sundays from noon-6pm. Thompson comes from WNCU/Durham, where he hosts the popular Morning Jazz show. He’s also a fixture in the Durham and greater Triangle music scene as a member of the jazz/hip hop/indie group ZOOCRU.
Susan Castle (right), has also joined the WUNC Music team to do 2-8 pm Wednesday through Friday. Castle is the longtime morning host on public Music Discovery station KUTX/Austin, and was previously on-air at KGSR/Austin. Thompson and Castle join host Cindy Howes, who is heard 8am-2pm weekdays on WUNC Music.
