Arthur Checks Into Hotel Cafe

James Arthur picHollywood’s famous Hotel Cafe has played host to hundreds of emerging artists over the years. Last week we were fortunate enough to convene there yet again as Columbia Records showcased their exciting and talented artist, James Arthur. We’ve seen large crowds jam the joint before, but for some reason, it felt like the fire marshals were minutes away from storming in due to the sheer number of bodies (including a reported Zayn Malik sighting) crammed inside to catch Arthur’s set.

Arthur performed a selection of songs from his new album Back From The Edge, including “Prisoner,” “Sober,” “My Sermon,” “Skeletons,” “Can I Be The Him,” and, to the delight of the capacity crowd singing along, he tore through an inspired cover of Ariana Grande‘s “Into You.” Arthur closed with his current single, “Say You Won’t Let Go,” which is currently No.1 in 28 territories, Top 10 on iTunes, heading Top 10 at Hot AC, heading Top 30 at Top 40 and Top 30 at Triple A. It also passed 210 million video views and has been Top 10 Global Spotify for months, racking up over 350 million streams!
