Food & Fun & Years & Years

• The RAMP family and friends were on the move again last Thursday evening, as Interscope Records hosted a very entertaining evening. After an amazing Italian dinner at Terroni in downtown Los Angeles, we all strolled several blocks down to the historic Belasco Theatre, where a sold-out (and extremely energetic) crowd was more than ready to welcome Years & Years, a talented trio from England, fronted by charismatic lead singer Olly Alexander. The timing of the show was perfect, seeing as how the band’s new album, Palo Santo, is coming out this Friday, July 6.

The SRO audience (did we mention they were wound up?) sang along to pretty much every word of every song, including the band’s current single, “If You’re Over Me,” as well as their No. 1 UK hit, “King” from the band’s debut album.

Top row, (l-r): James “DJ SupaJames” Palomares, PD of KREV/San Francisco, KFRH/Las Vegas & KRCK/Palm Springs; Interscope’s Chris Moradi, Mikey Goldsworthy (Years & Years), Chris Booker, (97.1 AMP Radio)/Los Angeles; Olly Alexander (Years & Years) and Interscope’s Mark Neiter.

Down in front, that’s Interscope’s Chris Lopes and RAMP‘s Steve Resnik. All in all, a pretty awesome evening, and we extend our big thanks to our Interscope hosts!
