As we recently reported, Emmis divested itself of its cluster in Terre Haute, IN — Country WTHI (HI 99) and the intellectual property of Classic Rock WWVR (105.5 The River) were spun off to Midwest Communications, while Hot AC WFNB (B92.7), Sports WFNF-AM (The Fan 1130), and WWVR were sold to DLC Media, Inc.
Just ahead of Friday’s closing with DLC Media, RAMP has learned that several employees — Kyle West, Jamie Dawson and Jules Dunbar — are exiting. West (left) was doing nights on HI 99 and MD/middays on B92.7, Dawson (right) was doing afternoons on B92.7 and Dunbar (center) was the midday talent on HI 99. West has worked in Terre Haute radio since 2000 and has been with Emmis since 2012.
