Borneman Named COO Of Jam Media Solutions

Jam Media Solutions, LLC has named veteran broadcast exec Steve Borneman as Chief Operating Officer. In his new role, Borneman will be responsible for overseeing JAM Media Solutions’ seven radio stations and two online newspapers serving Elizabeth City/Nags Head, NC and Muscatine, IA. Borneman will be based in North Carolina and report to Jonathan Mason, President & CEO of Jam Media Solutions LLC. He will also work closely with Director of Programming Kevin Walker and leaders of Jam Media Solutions’ Finance and Communications teams.

Borneman (left) spent the past four years as Chief Operating Officer at Pamal Broadcasting in Albany, NY, overseeing the company’s 23 radio stations throughout the Northeast. Before joining Pamal in July 2016, Borneman spent two years as GM of the Times-Shamrock cluster in Wilkes Barre-Scranton, PA, but he spent the bulk of his management career in New York City, including stints as Pres./GM of WPLJ and WABC, and later, Market Manager of Cumulus New York, followed by a brief run as Station Manager of iHeartMedia News-Talk 710 WOR.
