Cumulus Atlanta Names Schaflander VP/Sales
• Justin Schaflander is named as VP of Sales for Cumulus Atlanta. Schaflander segues from Good Karma Brands/ESPN Los Angeles, where he was Director of Sales for the past two years.
The new gig marks a return to the Atlanta market for Schaflander, who previously spent 13 years with iHeartMedia and served as Region President over the Atlanta/Georgia markets, Market President and VP of Sales for Atlanta.
Schaflander’s return to Atlanta also means a reunion with VP/Market Manager Melissa Forrest, who said, “This is the second time Justin and I have had the opportunity to work together. He is one of the strongest sales leaders I have ever had the benefit of partnering with. I look forward to maximizing the growth of our great stations and team.”
Schaflander commented, “It’s an amazing day when you can both return to your home and reunite with one of your mentors simultaneously! I would like to thank Dave Milner and Melissa Forrest for this opportunity to head Sales for Cumulus Atlanta and its heritage brands. Something special is in the air — I can feel it!”
