Deegan Upped To SVP/MM, Audacy Austin

• Audacy has elevated Tatjana Deegan to Senior Vice President and Market Manager of its Austin portfolio, which includes Hot AC KAMX (Mix 94.7), KJCE-AM (Talk Radio 1370), AC KKMJ (Majic 95.5) and Austin 95.9 Texas Country (KKMJ-HD3). Deegan, who has been serving as interim Market Manager, will retain her other role as Vice President of Sales for the market.

“Over the past few months, Tatjana has seamlessly led the team with the powerful combination of her contagious passion for this business and people-first leadership,” said Audacy Regional President Brian Purdy. “Since stepping in as Vice President of Sales a little over a year ago, she has been a driving force in the market’s success, and we’re confident she’ll bring that same energy and creativity to her expanded role. We’re excited to see how she continues to uplift our Austin brands.”

Deegan is a 20-year market veteran who joined Audacy Austin as VP of Sales in March 2024, coming off an 18-year stint across the street as General Sales Manager for Emmis/Waterloo Media Austin, where she oversaw multiple stations, was a driving force for the Blues on the Green concert series, and launched the company’s first Spanish-language station.

Deegan’s earlier roles include GSM for CMG’s KHPT/Houston, and Local Sales Manager for CBS Radio Austin. Deegan is also an nine-time recipient of “Austin Radio Sales Manager of the Year” honors from the Alliance for Women in Media.
