Entercom Ups Federman, Hires Williamson

RAMP has learned that Entercom just initiated two executive announcements — 1) Jeff Federman has been elevated to Regional President, and 2) Rachel Williamson joins the company as the new Regional President of Milwaukee and Madison and Market Manager for Chicago, succeeding Jimmy de Castro.

The news was shared companywide in a memo from Weezie Kramer, Entercom COO, who said of Federman, “Jeff has been functioning as the Regional President of Los Angeles, San Diego and Riverside for over a year and he deserves the title to go with the position. Super thank you to Jeff for all the tremendous work coming out of our Southern California markets.”

Commenting on Williamson’s hire, Kramer called Williamson “a proven leader who has delivered a winning track record at everything she has done.” She continued, “Rachel has worked in local, national and network radio as well as digital; and, most recently, as President of Cox Media Group’s Gamut where she has been since 2016… Rachel is a dynamo with tremendous passion and vision for audio and she is thrilled to be returning to Chicago with her husband, Mike, who is from Milwaukee.” In conclusion, Kramer said, “I am thrilled to welcome Rachel to the company, and I think her energy and multiplatform experience will help take us to the next level. She is expected to join us in 2020, so it is business as usual for now.”
