Executive Action: Sales Guys

• Awkwardly timed to the imminent arrival of Cat 4 Hurricane Florence, iHeartMedia Charleston, SC has named Pete Norden as Senior Vice President of Sales for its four-station group — Country WEZL, Classic Rock WRFQ (Q104.5), AC WXLY (Y102.5) and NewsRadio 94.3 WSC.

Norden (left) is a 24-year Clear Channel/iHeartMedia veteran who was most recently SVP of Sales for iHeartMedia Tampa. He previously served as Market President for iHeartMedia’s Sarasota and Panama City, FL markets, and he began his radio career in 1989 at WWAV/Destin, FL.

Norden reports to Alene Grevey, Area President, for iHeartMedia Charleston, who commented, “Pete is an exceptionally strong broadcaster and leader and we are truly thrilled to have him be a part of team iHeartMedia Charleston. His experience will blossom in our culture and his commitment to excellence will matriculate throughout the sales organization.” Norden said, “I am genuinely looking forward to joining the Charleston iHeartMedia team. • Gregg Stiansen (right) has been tapped as the new National Sales Manager for Beasley Media Group New Jersey — Classic Hits WJRZ and Mainstream Rock WRAT/Monmouth-Ocean, Talk WCTC-AM and AC WMGQ (Magic 98.3)/New Brunswick, Mainstream Rock WDHA and Oldies WMTR/Morristown and Religious WTMR-AM/Camden, NJ.

Stiansen was most recently GM of Salem Media Group’s WFIL-AM and WNTP-AM/Philadelphia. A longtime veteran of Nassau Broadcasting, Stiansen was previously VP/GM of WPSTWTHK, WHWH-AM, WTTM-AM and WCHR-AM, and also served as SVP of Nassau Radio Network from 2001 to 2013.
