Executive Action: Sam Nein
• Former longtime iHeartMedia executive Sam Nein has joined forces with Florida-based entrepreneur David Maus, and will assume a dual leadership role as President of Maus Media Group as well as Founder & President of Power Play Media. Maus is the owner of New Port Richey Nissan, Crystal River Nissan and Maus Media Group, in addition to multiple other interests he has stake in.
Nein spent the last seven years as Market President of iHeartMedia’s Tampa Bay Area until his exit in January. He previously served as Director of Sales for Clear Channel Orlando, and he started his radio career at KNBR/San Francisco.
“David has been a client and very close friend of mine dating back to 2001 when we were both in Orlando,” said Nein. “He is a brilliant marketer! His brand is iconic in Central Florida. David and I have always worked very well together and I am very excited about our new partnership!” Maus remarked, “Sam played an important role in helping me to successfully launch and build my brands in both Orlando and Tampa.
