Fanney Named GSM Of Pulse, Star/Raleigh

• Curtis Media Group Raleigh has named Brandon Fanney as General Sales Manager of Top 40 WWPL/WPLW (96.9/102.5 Pulse FM) and Hot AC WPLW-AM (Star 92.9), with a start date of Oct. 21.

Fanney was most recently VP of Sales at Cary, NC-based Local Voice Media, managing the company’s sales efforts in Wilmington, NC, Virginia Beach and Williamsburg, VA. Fanney is a native of Durham, NC and a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he also received his Masters degree.

Curtis Media Group President/COO Trip Savery commented, “We are very pleased to welcome Brandon to Curtis Media Group. His experiences working on successful campaigns with local businesses in markets across the region will serve him well as he begins this new role in the Triangle.”
