Futuri Media announced several key additions to its fast-growing team — Michael Sharkey joins as Product Manager for #engage and Futuri Mobile; and Jim Roberts and Jim Tarantine join as National Account Managers.

Sharkey (left), a.k.a. “Shark,” is best known for his 14 years at Cox Media Group Tampa Bay as Rock Format Leader and PD/Brand Manager for WSUN (97X) and WHPT (102.5 The Bone). He has also co-founded and advised for multiple tech startups designed to drive audio consumption and audience engagement. At Futuri, he’ll lead the product teams for #engage, the interactive broadcasting platform designed to drive tune-in occasions using social media, and Futuri Mobile, which develops highly-customized and engaging mobile apps.

Roberts (center) spent the past 20 years in various sales and programming positions with Mid-West Family Broadcasting’s South Bend, IN stations. A graduate of the NAB’s Broadcast Leadership Training program, Roberts has extensive experience managing converged media and a track record of proven success in driving ratings and revenue growth.

Tarantine (right) segues from Nielsen Audio, where he spent more than 12 years, most recently as Director, Client Solutions, leading key initiatives including TV/audio integration, digital audio measurement, audio enhancements, and media analytics offerings. Over the last six years, he was exclusively dedicated to the success of CBS Radio.

“Futuri’s fast-growing team builds solutions to deliver the ROI our media industry partners require: audience engagement, ratings and revenue,” said Daniel Anstandig, CEO of Futuri Media CEO. “Collaborating with local managers and corporate leaders to help them develop the future of our industry is the most important and rewarding part of our mission.”
