Green New GSM At WTTS/Indianapolis
• Following a two-month search, Sarkes Tarzian, Inc. introduced Brian Green as the new General Sales Manager of heritage Triple A WTTS/Indianapolis, effective Monday, August 16.
A native of Monon, IN, Green joins WTTS following a successful run as VP/GM and General Sales Manager for Saga’s six-station cluster in Champaign, IL. Before that he was GSM for Renda Broadcasting’s four-station group in Ft. Myers-Naples, FL. Green began his radio career with Schurz Communications in Lafayette, IN, rising through the ranks from Account Exec to Sales Manager, Director of Sales, and eventually, General Manager.
In making the announcement, WTTS President & General Manager Brad Holtz commented, “Brian is the right leader at the right time for Sarkes Tarzian, Inc. His proven track record of success over the past two decades will serve WTTS well as the station has never been positioned stronger.” Green remarked, “I have been familiar with the Sarkes Tarzian family for a number of years and am very happy to now become a part of it.”
Green will succeed current WTTS Director of Sales Tony Severino, who in May announced his desire to step down from his management role for a return to sales as an Account Executive, also effective August 16.
