Janoff Named CRO At USRN

United Stations Radio Networks, Inc. has acquired the talents of 35-year industry exec Greg Janoff as Chief Revenue Officer. In his new capacity, Janoff will oversee all of the company’s advertising sales efforts, which range from the traditional radio network business to the ever-expanding audio and video revenue streams available to advertisers and marketing partners via USRN’s varied digital platforms.

Janoff has been in the New York City area since 1995, where he held several upper management positions for CBS Radio and Entercom. At various times, Janoff was VP/GM and Station Manager of WINS-AM (1010 WINS) and VP/Director of Sales for WINS, WCBS and WFAN/New York. He also spent three years running Townsquare Media’s New Jersey and Michigan markets as Regional VP, following a two-year stint as EVP of Revenue for Merlin Media’s five stations in New York, Chicago and Philadelphia. Janoff got his industry start at WBZ-AM/Boston after graduating from Boston University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism.

Janoff reports to United Stations Chairman & CEO Nick Verbitsky, who commented, “We are beyond thrilled that we now have Greg Janoff overseeing our revenue streams. Greg is passionate about our medium, knows radio inside and out and will absolutely be a tremendous asset for our company. The next decade is around the corner and we have landed the right executive to lead our current successes forward into the future.” Janoff is now on the job at USRN’s New York office and can be contacted at 212-536-3661 or gjanoff@unitedstations.com.
