MWC Ups Farmer & Bridges To Regional Roles

• As part of its ongoing investment in the great state of Tennessee, Midwest Communications, Inc. announced the promotion of two veteran leaders to regional roles: Jad Farmer has been named Regional Director of Sales, Tennessee Region, and Barbara Bridges has been elevated to Regional Brand Manager, Tennessee.

In his expanded role, Farmer will now oversee the Nashville sales organization while continuing to lead the Knoxville sales team, while Bridges, a recent inductee into the Tennessee Radio Hall of Fame will now oversee branding and programming operations for her longtime station, WJXA (Mix 92.9)/Nashville while adding AC sister WJXB (B97.5)/Knoxville.

“These appointments are not about combining markets — they are about strengthening them,” said Michael Brody, VP, Tennessee Region. “Nashville and Knoxville each remain unique, locally focused operations. By elevating proven leaders like Barbara and Jad, we are creating greater alignment and sharing best practices while preserving the local decision-making that drives our success.”
