New CMG Managers In Houston & Orlando

• Cox Media Group announced new leadership for its radio groups in Houston and Orlando — Stephanie Callihan is upped to VP/Market Manager of CMG Houston, and JC Campese is promoted to VP/Market Manager of CMG Orlando.

Callihan (left) joined CMG Houston in July 2021 as Director of Sales. She brings over three decades of experience in sales and marketing to her new position, previously serving as SVP/Market Manager for Audacy/Entercom Austin, VP/Market Manager for iHeartMedia Wichita, and she spent 13 years in Dallas with ESPN, Cumulus, Citadel and ABC-Disney. “My journey to CMG has been a great one, and each step of the way has equipped me with the exact set of skills I need to lock arms and win with this outstanding team,” Callihan said. “The CMG team is poised to transform the radio industry, and I can’t wait to be a part of it.”

Campese (right) has spent his entire radio career in the Orlando market, starting with CBS Radio. He joined CMG in 2000 as a Director for Cox Events Group. He was upped to Director of Digital Sales in 2009, GSM in 2012, and was upped to Director of Sales in August 2019. “I’ve had the pleasure of serving a diverse portfolio of audiences and organizations and look forward to bringing those experiences forward in my new role with CMG,” said Campese. “I am beyond excited to take this next step and push our CMG brands to the next level.”

Rob Babin, EVP, CMG Radio, remarked, “We are excited to tap into our amazing internal CMG leadership talent and announce the promotions of JC and Stephanie. JC and Stephanie have a fantastic range of experiences and talents that will make a positive impact on CMG and our talented teams in Orlando and Houston. I look forward to the difference they’ll make as CMG continues to evolve to meet the needs of our listeners, clients, and our communities.”

In Houston, Callihan succeeds Keith Lawless, who previously served as RVP/GM of CMG Houston and Tampa until his September departure. Campese replaces former Orlando VP/GM Jason Meder, who in August transferred back to Tampa to replace Lawless there.
