Pros On The Loose: Tim Thompson

• As we recently reported, Audacy announced it was restructuring its upper management level, eliminating the role of Market Manager and transitioning some of the existing Market Managers into new roles, including SVP of Sales in their markets.

That was the case in Rochester, NY, as SVP/Market Manager Tim Wenger was reclassified as SVP of Sales, which led into the departure of Tim Thompson (left), a 27-year Audacy/Entercom veteran, the last 24 as General Sales Manager of Audacy’s Rochester cluster — (WBEE, WBZA, WCMF, WPXY & Sports Radio 95.7 FM & 950am).
