Roecker Selling For iHeart L.A.

• We are happy to report that veteran programmer Jay Michaels, his husband, Jay Roecker and their son Clark have relocated from Dallas to Los Angeles. While Michaels will announce his new plans shortly, Roecker (pictured) has landed a new gig with iHeartMedia as an Account Exec for AC KOST and Hot AC KBIG (104.3 MYfm).

In a staff memo announcing Roecker’s arrival at the sprawling iHeartMedia broadcast complex in Burbank, Julie Martzke, VP of Sales for iHeartMedia Los Angeles said, “Please welcome Jay Roecker, our newest member of the KOST/MY sales team. Jay moved here from Dallas with his family and is excited to make an impact. Before joining us, he coordinated, managed and negotiated concert tours for the Radio Disney Network as National Manager of Artist Partnerships for ten years. After that he was a successful individual contributor, sales leader and director in the technology industry. We are excited to have him and look forward to his success.”
