Savoy-Smith Now Running Entercom D.C.
• Entercom Washington has promoted Ivy Savoy-Smith to Senior Vice President and Market Manager. She succeeds Phil Zachary, who recently transitioned into a corporate role working on special projects for Entercom.
Ms. Savoy-Smith is a 30-year media industry pro who has served as VP & Director of Sales for Entercom Washington since 2017, managing the local, national, digital, and non-spot revenue for WPGC, WJFK (106.7 The Fan), WIAD (94.7 The Drive), WLZL (El Zol 107.9), WJFK-AM (El Zol Deportes) and Connecting Vets (WPGC-HD3). Before that, she worked under former owner CBS Radio Washington as Local Sales Manager, General Sales Manager, and Director of Integrated Sales and Special Events.
Savoy-Smith reports to Bob Philips, Entercom Chief Revenue Officer and Regional President, who said, “During her time here at Entercom, Ivy has embodied leadership, strategic thinking, accountability and hard work. She is a forward thinker who has produced undeniable results and we are excited to have her lead Entercom Washington D.C. into the new decade.”
