SBS Ups Hudson To EVP, Local Media

Spanish Broadcasting System, Inc. (SBS) has promoted 20-year company veteran Donny Hudson to EVP of Local Media for Radio/TV & Digital for all SBS markets. Hudson will retain his existing role as GM of SBS Miami — WXDJ (El Nuevo Zol 106.7), WRMA (Ritmo 95.7), WCMQ (Zeta 92.3), MegaTV, and the LaMusica app.

Hudson has spent his entire career in the Miami market, starting at WSUA (Radio Suave) after graduating from the University of Miami in 1989 with a Degree in Broadcasting. He later served as EVP of Sales for America CV Network/America TeVe. He also worked in sales at HBC, rising to General Sales Manager of WRTO-FM. Over the course of his 20-year career with SBS, Hudson previously served as SVP of Consolidated Sales, Local Sales Manager, and Director of Local Sales. He was recently appointed as a Radio Board Member of the Florida Association of Broadcasters’ (FAB) Board of Directors.
